Still a dense ruby core starting to fade at the rim. Good development on the nose showing sweet fruit, jammed plum and red berries with tobacco, caramel, mocha and some wood. The palate shows medium weight, rather dense fruit with a backbone of fine tannin, just starting to soften, flavours of red and dark plum a slight herbal spiciness and fairly long finish.
