Château Mirause – Cuvée Originale 2014 – Minervois

Medium intense colour, transparent ruby-red. The nose starts out quite spicy, with some hints of fresh pepper, freshly ground pepper. The fruit is rather on the sweet side, more red berry fruit; like stewed red plum, raspberry. Quite light structure on the palate. Soft and subtle. Quite mellow in terms of extract and rounded. With attractive juicy red fruit. Soft, subtle and light finish, with a balanced acidity. Straightforward style to enjoy quite young.
