High colour intensity here, rather opaque at the core, dark purple with a ruby rim. Very fine nose. Good purity here, with some floral hints of violet. Then there is plenty of dark fruit, predominantly cassis. It feels quite Cabernet here, with some more dark fruity notes. Fine spices, fine wood, fine leather. I say fine a lot, it should be a fine wine. But really discreet. Intense floral, delicious fruit. Nice palate here. I would talk about really intense here in terms of flavour intensity. We have that dark fruit, particularly cassis, with dark plum, some cherry notes. In terms of structure, I would call it about medium to full, but not really bold, more than this mid-weight, well structured. Good length. I think everything is in there right now. It still appears a rather youthful wine to me, but I think there is a fine drinkability here. Grainy tannin. Very good level of freshness. Fine wood. Yeah, really stylish, elegant fruit. Long persistent finish. Still youthful. A wine I would certainly like to put back in my cellar for a few years, or decant it thirty to forty minutes prior to service. But very elegant and very good.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
