Very dense ruby purple core with a slight evolution on the rim. Intriguing nose, modern and fleshy with layers of ripe dark fruit, tobacco, fine oak, some toastiness and nice layers of spice and some emerging black truffle. The palate has a high concentration and ripeness, yet with a very fine backbone of fresh acidity and finely polished tannin, hints of cassis, blackberry, cocoa powder and espresso. Chewy and big but finely nuanced with a very long and meaty aftertaste, really good, starting to open up, yet with a big ageing potential.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
