Quite youthful, dark and inky colour, still with the presence of blue-purple. It starts out quite shy on the nose, needs some air to open up. There is a lot of dried fruit underneath; like dark plum, blackberry. Some discreet hints of wood and vanilla. Some leafy notes as well like tobacco, bay leaf. Quite dense core here. There is a lot of fruit and I think the tannins are already quite fine. Then we have this core of dark plum, blackberry with some fine spicy notes; like anise seed, liquorice, sweet plum. You feel a little hint of the tannins on the finish. They are ripe, but still youthful and vigorous, with a clear presence. However, I think there is a fair potential here, because a lot of density. Anxious dark fruit, really long lasting and persistent. Just a bit young at this moment, but it will surely develop really well.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
