Château Les Grands Chênes – 2013 – Medoc – Cru Bourgeois

Rather dense dark ruby core. Pure and youthful nose of ripe dark fruit, some new oak, vanilla and spices. Rather youthful palate, pretty high extraction/tannin blending red and dark berries with some herbal notes, a hint of new oak, medium to long finish. Still needing some time to soften.
