Quite intense colour here, deep ruby-red I would say. Fine nose, quite modern here with a slight hint of oak, just a hint of vanilla. Rather ripe fruit, combining some cassis with red and dark berries. Some vanilla and mocha. Good gripe on the palate. Quite full bodied here, with both fine core of fruit. Quite high extract here. We have a fair deal of tannin, but I think they are just about to integrate now. There is nothing harsh or hard here, it rather leaves a good impression on the palate. I think the tannin are also contributing to a quite long persistence here. Still a youthful wine, but with very fine potential. Good gripe, good intensity of fruit. It keeps lingering. Fine oak all along, not really dominating. I just get some finely toasted notes on the finish. So certainly a wine that should age really well.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
