Very bright colour, approaching light golden. Very fine nose, crisp and fresh. With a lot of herbal spiciness, cut grass. Aromatic herbs, with some gooseberry, lime, lemon zest. A floral component as well. Quite discreet oak. More in the direction of a ripe Sauvignon. Very good bite on the palate. The nose suggests quite high ripeness, but it is really bone-dry and crisp on the palate. Nice juicy acidity. Fine treatment of oak. Barely noticeable on the palate. Very long and bright finish. You feel a certain ripeness here. With a quite elevated alcohol, but thanks to the acidity on the finish, I do not think it is really noticeable taste wise. Fine example with a good drinkability today and potential for another six to eight years I would say.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
