Very dark and inky colour here, opaque core with a blue-purple rim. Doesn’t give away a lot on the nose, it’s an emphasis on fruit here; dark berries like cassis and plum. No influence of oak. The palate is still young, quite raw, with pronounced tannin. High acidity. Quite dense fruitiness here with dark plum and cassis notes. It has length, it has a good grip in terms of weight and finish; it should probably develop well, but it’s still really youthful and a bit difficult to judge, so we should come back to it.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
