Château Le Clos du Notaire – 2018 – Côtes de Bourg

Inky dark purple core and hue. The nose offers new oak, dry spices, ripe dark berries and sweet plum. Youthful but well-balanced between acidity, tannin and fruit with crushed dark berries and tobacco flavours. Good length, rather accessible but should improve from further ageing.
