Red wine with a deep ruby-red core, starting to lose some of the colour at the rim. Intense nose here. Pure with high intensity. There is a floral touch; like violet, some notes of rose petal. On top of that there is really a wealth of ripe fruit. Quite a mix here of red and dark berries. Fine intensity here, really with an emphasis on fruit. There are some discreet oak in the background, gentle roasted notes, and a hint of vanilla. Beautiful fruit, really intense. Very nice on the palate here. I love the volume here. Really mouth filling. The texture is really rounded and silky. So there is a good level of extract there, but really fine and polished tannin. Once again a plethora of sweet fruit, like crushed red and dark berries, with some of those floral undertones. Quite elegant and gentle spiciness. Well integrated oak. Really delicious and juicy fruit. I think this is a fine combination of power and elegance. It is really leaving a good impression on the palate. It is keeps lingering, really long powerful and persistence. Yet it is well balanced with discreet oak, finely tuned tannins. Bloody good drinkability.
