Château La Verrière – 2016 – Bordeaux Supérieur

Deep inky purple core. Modern and pure nose with blackberry, plum, crème de cassis, sweet spices and discreet oak. Dense palate, it hits above its weight resembling a grand cru in a sense with layers of ripe dark fruit, crushed blackberry, plum, sweet spices, fine oak, a lush texture and a very long warm finish. Ambitious, glossy and well-made.
