The colour is quite deep golden almost towards amber. It looks like it has gotten some evolution. Intense nose. Certainly displaying sweetness, with honey, some caramel. Tropical fruit, almost like glazed or dried fruit like figs, dates, candied pineapple. Then with some dried spices and a lot of nuttiness. The palate is immensely sweet. Here we talk about a very high degree of sweetness. Yet it is nicely counterbalanced by a very present nervous acidity that gives a lift. It is more towards like raisin, prunes, dates and dried fruit with a lot of honey. Very good weight in terms of texture. This is certainly a wine that has gotten all the parameter there. Intense sweetness and density. Very long finish. However, it is still very massive and youthful. I think it should be best kept in a cellar for many more years, it obviously has the potential to be aged for a very long time.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
