Intense dark purple core. Ripe nose of dark fruit like cassis, plum, coffee bean, a hint of oak and mild spices. The palate has a nice density and ripe texture, still young though with some oak presence on the taste, layers of ripe dark fruit, cassis, tobacco, cocoa bean. Long and steady finish with nice dark fruit and fine oak notes. Should develop nicely.
