Really youthful colour here, it is inky black at the core. High colour intensity. Pure nose here, with floral and dark fruity aromas. There are notes of violet and then obviously dark plum, black currant, some aromatic herbs. Slight hint of mint and sage and a lot of fresh dark berries. That is a very good density on the palate. I like this because it is a bit more than medium weight. I love the density of fruit, really inky-dark fruit. Very Cabernet driven. I love those herbal notes, not green in terms of taste, it just adds a little bit of spice to that dark fruit. So dark plum, cassis. No oak noticeable really, if there is, it is well concealed. I would say very fine tannin as well. I find this wine being, right now, quite delicious for its attractive youthful fruit. Really good drinkability, if I should use the term. Excellent freshness. Very long and lasting finish. However, on top of that, I still think it has the tannic quality of a grand vin or a great wine. Which makes it more compatible with enormous pieces of meat. So yeah, I like it.
