Château La Haye – 2016 – Saint Estèphe Cru Bourgeois

Intense dark purple colour. Some balsamic notes, leather, new oak and sweet dark fruit. Dense palate, rather tannic and austere texture, dense with youthful fruit, some herbal flavours and a rather long but tight finish. A robust style made for long ageing, needs another 5-6 years to open.
