Medium deep colour, I can see through it, rather ruby-red with a fading rim. Classic nose here, mixing red and dark fruit, red currant, plum, some herbal spiciness, anise seed and gentle oak. Palate is quite polished and rounded with medium weight, but quite rounded in terms of tannin. There is some spiciness and complexity going on in the aftertaste. Quite layered, mixing that spicy fruit, with some kind of meaty notes, slightly peppery and spicy. Medium towards long, but a quite soft and subtle style. With a good drinkability today.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
