Medium intense colour, ruby-red. Quite traditional style on the nose. There is some animal, leathery notes, with mostly red fruit, plum. Some spicy and herbal notes; some leafy hints like bay leaf, sage, anise seed and some red pepper. Palate has a medium weight. Quite traditional style here with an elevated acidity. Quite pronounced tannin. Still appearing a bit youthful on the palate, with firm red fruit; like plum, some hints of cranberry, slight herbal spiciness. Not a lot of oak evident. It has got good length, however it appears a bit youthful and tight. It should definitely evolve from some further cellaring.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
