Château Jean de Gué – 2016 – Lalande de Pomerol

Inky dark purple hue. Youthful nose, pure dark fruit, cassis and kirsch with some new oak, roasted hints and mocha. Youthful palate but nice density, fresh acidity, ripe but young tannin, fresh and inky fruit notes with a bright acidity, layers of dark fruit, well-integrated oak, and a dense and long finish. Should certainly improve very well.
