Quite dark colour here, dark ruby with a youthful blue-purple hue. Fresh nose displaying some gentle hints of wood here. A touch of vanilla, a touch of butterscotch, blending red and dark berries, sweet plum. Good grip on the palate. Quite full here, with a rather high level of extract. Rather well-balanced with the fruitiness there. Still youthful with the sensation of freshly crushed fruit, with mainly black plum and cassis. Finish is quite on the long side. But still a bit youthful, with a slight tannic presence and youthful acidity. A slight hint of herbal spiciness on the finish as well. A finely crafted wine that should certainly develop more complexity over four to six years and should keep for up to ten. Should be drinkable within the coming year.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
