Very youthful appearance. Dark purple, dark ruby, with a purple hue, I would say. The nose is intense, very generous fruit here, high ripeness with dark plum, fresh dark berry fruit. Discreet oak if any. Just a slight hint of vanilla, some mild spiciness. A hint of tobacco leaf. Generous palate, nicely rounded there, with ripe dark fruit. Quite a lot of extract. Ripe tannin there, giving an almost powder feeling on the palate with some hints of coco bean. Attractive dark juicy fruit and a long finish. Polished and rounded. Still very youthful but I find it attractive for its direct fruitiness and generosity. It should certainly have the structure for another four to six years in a good cellar.
