Château Haut Landon – 2014 – Bordeaux Superieur

Youthful very inky colour here, opaque centre and a blue-purple nuance. Quite attractive nose here, combining some roasted wood with inky dark fruit like cassis and plum; good purity of fruit. Good grip on the palate here; we have a fine level of concentration, intense and inky dark fruit like crushed cassis, crushed plum. We have some peppery notes, sweet spices. Wood feels pretty well integrated. I would call it rather dense in terms of volume, good volume and weight. It certainly has a length. Quite long but also quite soft on the finish as well, with juicy dark fruit. Very attractive wine, that should be drinkable quite soon.
