Château Haut Canteloup – 2014 – Blaye Cotes De Bordeaux

Still a very youthful and almost opaque core here, blue-purple. Very young nose here; it really feels unfinished, with dark inky fruit, but more like freshly fermented must. It has a good weight and density of fruit here, with tannins that are still youthful and present, but they should round off pretty soon. So attractive juicy dark fruit, a quite long finish, but it’s still just unfinished business so to say, so it’s difficult to judge now. I think it has the density and weight to develop well, but we should come back to it in the near future.
