Medium deep ruby with a purple hue. Fine nose, elegant and floral with violet, fresh red berries, plum, some wood and mild spices like clove and ginger. Rather light on the palate but nice juicy fruit and freshness, quite persistent too with spicy red fruit and finely toasted notes on the finish, a slight tannic presence on the aftertaste, requires another year to open up. Elegantly built for rather early drinking.
