Quite intense dark ruby-red colour, indicating a certain evolution on the rim. Intense nose, also with some evolution here. Quite sweet fruit, some oak, vanilla, sweet plum and dark cherry. Quite ridged structure. Really dense with lushes fruit here. I really like that dark cherry, plum. It gets a lift from some spicy, herbal notes; aromatic herbs, like sage, a hint of mint. Still quite austere tannin. I mean it is still present and it should perhaps deserve some more time in the cellar. There is a slight hint of oak as well. It gets a really long finish, due to high extract. It certainly has the structure to evolve for many years in the cellar. I think it would need perhaps another one or two years to soften a little bit. Good fruit, good material. It should be pretty drinkable in the near future.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
