Quite deep colour, youthful dark ruby with a slight purple core. The nose is showing a lot of dark fruit. With notes of plum, blackberry, then there is some leather, hint of roasted oak. Quite opulent and modern style I would say. Also with a floral component. I think this is about to display beyond that primary fruit some more maturity with a slight hint of black truffle, fine spice box. High concentration on the palate. High extract. Really dense fruitiness here, with layers of dark fruit. Well-balanced acidity. I think the oak is well-concealed on the palate. Really dense and vigorous with a very long finish. Again I would say that the tannic texture needs some more time to integrate. It should do so in the coming few years. Otherwise it is a quite sexy wine with a lot of power, plenty of fruit. Good length and should certainly have a potential for a long life.
