Château Garraud – L’Ancien 2016 – Lalande de Pomerol

Dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Fragrant and layered nose with notes of coffee bean, mocha, fine oak, butterscotch and ripe dark fruit. Good density on the palate with high extract but ripe tannin, pure and savoury dark fruit with mild spices, pepper and liquorice, fine layers and a long finish. Well-built, should improve very well.
