Château du Perier – 2016 – Bordeaux – France

Dark purple colour. Classic nose of tar, lead pencil, wood and ripe dark fruit. Dense and concentrated palate with a youthful tannic texture, fresh dark plum and cassis notes with good length. But still a bit austere needing 2-3 years to soften.
