Quite dense ruby, purple colour. A youthful nose of plum, crushed berries and aniseed and no presence of wood. The palate has medium weight, still a bit tight and austere with grippy tannin, red fruit notes like red currant and cranberry with an herbal spiciness and medium length. Still needs a few years to soften and gain complexity.
