Very youthful appearance here with a blue-purple colour. Dense core, pretty high viscosity as well. Intense nose, displaying floral notes of violet paired with dark fruity notes, a lot of blackberry, dark plum. Rather mild spiciness. Still very much on the primary fruit. Quite lushes fruit on the palate. Fine and grainy tannins, so already with a rounded texture. With juicy and subtle fruit. Still with good density though like with fresh blackberry juice, dark plum. With some spicy notes of ginger, clove, black pepper. Well preserved acidity as well. So it gets a good lift and grip on the palate. Quite long finish and with a bit more spiciness going on. This still is very youthful, but in my mind perfectly drinkable thanks to that, there is a lot of juice, lots of fruit. Youthful extraction. However it does have the structure to go on for four, five, six, whatever years in a good cellar. So do as you wish.
