Château de Riquewihr – Riesling 2013 – Alsace Grand Cru Schoenenbourg

Bright pale golden colour. Intense nose, some maturity and ripe yellow fruit with some chalky notes, smoke and a mild spiciness. Good bite and harmony on the palate, ripe apricot, pineapple, sweet citrus, a gentle but well-integrated sweetness, fresh backbone of acidity and a long lingering finish. Fine drinkability today.
