Bright dark purple core. Intense nose, modern and ripe with new oak, roasted notes, sweet dark fruit, blackberry, cassis and some wet stone/chalky notes. The palate is very dense but finely rounded with grainy tannin, notes of cocoa bean, layers of sweet dark fruit, yet with a healthy dose of freshness underneath, and a dense, long and muscular finish. Powerful and bold, yet already nuanced and rounded with good proportions.
