Dark ruby/purple core. Intense nose with finely toasted oak, ripe dark fruit, violet, cassis and blackberry. The palate is dense and concentrated with grainy tannin, layers of ripe dark fruit, fine spiciness and a long fleshy finish. Powerful but with a fine freshness and elegance.
