Very youthful colour here, dark blue purple core. Quite discreet nose at first, displaying wild berry fruit, with plum, blackberry, some floral notes, a sweet spiciness, and very discreet oak. Palate has medium weight, quite dense fruit though, but in terms of extract I would say it’s rather supple; so really mild and grainy tannins, fresh acidity. However, it still feels quite young and unresolved. I think all the parts are in place, good proportions; but it just needs some time actually to develop complexity and nuance. Good length, and good overall balance. Nice extract here, quite soft and supple with that attractive wild berry fruit; so certainly a wine that should develop well.
