Château de Pommard – Clos Marey Monge Monopole 2016 – Pommard

Bright medium deep ruby red colour. Youthful nose displaying some earthy notes, wild berries, leather and tobacco with fine oak underneath. Rather full palate, youthful with high extract and acidity, savoury red fruit underneath, yet in need of further cellaring to open, nice density and length. Should develop truly well.
