Youthful colour, still quite dense ruby towards purple on the core. Pure nose, displaying some hints of vanilla, wood, dark plum and freshly crushed berries. Also a slight hint of herbal spiciness, like bay leaf. Quite dense core of dark fruit, quite high level of extract, finely distributed tannin, still offering a youthful taste but ripe tannin. Wood is well-integrated as well, with just some hints of vanilla. Bright freshness on the palate; the fruitiness is again that dark plum, pear, with some cranberry, some acid red fruit. Pretty long finish, nice and rounded, with a dash of wood and vanilla.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
