Château de La Grenière – 2016 — Cuvée de La Chartreuse 2016 – Lussac Saint Emilion

Dark inky purple colour. Youthful nose, ripe dark plum, cassis, some floral notes and discreet oak. Dense palate with high extraction, rather tannic at present, warm and ripe dark fruit, structured and long but still a preponderance of tannin.
