Château de Cartujac – 2017 – Haut Médoc Cru Bourgeois

Rather dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Pure aromas of ripe dark berries, cassis, new wood and cigar box. Dense palate, still a bit on the tight side, yet balanced with crunchy dark fruit, balanced oak and good length. Still deserving a few years to open.
