Ruby-red with a quite moderate colour intensity. Pure nose, displaying some new oak. Moderate ripeness. More of red currant, cranberry, some herbal and peppery notes. Palate is on the lighter side, light to medium weight I would say. Yet it does have a clear presence of tannin. There is a slight hint of new oak in there as well. In terms of taste, I would say it is still really youthful, but it will need some more time for the fruit to sort out. It is a bit masked and muted now, by the tannin and the wood. The fruit is rather the same as on the nose, with red currant, cranberry. So quite a moderate level of ripeness here. Medium long finish. Certainly a wine that will need some more time in the cellar.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
