The colour has medium depth, with ruby nuance, showing some development already. Losing colour at the rim. Medium intense nose. Mostly on the fruity side, showing more red fruit. Quite sweet fruit, like confiture of red berries, with some sweet plum. There is mild spiciness. Not a lot of oak. A hint of complexity coming from age, so a touch of that spice box. Medium towards full weight. There is still a slight tannic presence there. So quite youthful on the taste, but the nose has a certain complexity. The fruit is quite delicious and rounded already. It does have a good length. It keeps lingering. Juicy red fruit with a gentle spiciness and vanilla. Oak feels well integrated. My only reservation would be to put it back for one more year and give a thorough decantation for the tannins to round off a little bit more.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
