Red wine with a quite intense core here, there is still something blue-purple. Otherwise, it is more towards ruby on the rim. Fine nose here, good intensity. Combining some floral hints with wild berry fruit and there is some new oak present. Quite fine toastiness here, with some sweet spicy notes. Palate is rather mid-weight, well a bit more than mid-weight. Always difficult to talk about these categories, but it is not the boldest or broadest. I like the purity of fruit here. Really delicious fruit like freshly crushed blackberry, raspberry, cassis. Good level of freshness as well. There is an well-integrated, quite rounded acidity. The tannins are quite silky as well, more like fine chocolate powder. What I like with this is it is subtle, juicy and it is drinkable. Yet with a good grip and good length. Good potential for further development and, of course, there is already a hint of complexity there. Even though it will develop much more from further cellaring. Really nice wine.
