Dark ruby red colour. The nose is smoky and toasty with some new oak, tobacco, dark berries, cassis and plum notes. The palate is dense and weighty with dark berries, cassis, young tannin, herbal spiciness, good purity of fruit, fine oak and a rather long warm finish.
