Medium intense colour, ruby-red. Generous nose, displaying some roasted flavours. Fine spiciness here with vanilla, roasted coffee bean, some white pepper and plum. Quite a mix of red and dark berries. I would say rather elegant fruit, with a floral hint as well. The palate has a nice density of fruit. Once again combining red and dark berries. Quite grainy tannins there, so rather subtle in texture already. Fine oakiness on the palate. There is a slight hint of vanilla. Well-balanced acidity as well. Finish is long, lingering. So truly a wine with substance and potential. Quite accessible already, but it should certainly gain much more complexity over the coming years and it should have a long life ahead of it, because there is good weight and structure.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
