Chapelle de Novilis – Néus 2013 – Coteaux d’Ensérune

Red wine with a medium deep colour, a rather ruby core, slightly Red wine with a medium deep colour, a rather ruby core, and a slightly watery rim with some evolution. Pure nose, quite fruit-driven, without any hints of oak, more on the red fruity side with some crushed red berries, cherry and plum. No indication of oak. Palate has a lighter weight, rather soft texture. It’s young, but perfectly rounded, with sour cherry notes, plum. Good freshness, rather mellow tannins, quite soft finish. Nicely made, we feel quite ripe fruit here, but it’s not made for the long term; it’s rather in a fresh, attractive and juicy style. To drink young.
