This is a quite deep colour for a rosé rather light-red with a quite intense mousse large bubbles. The nose indicates a lot of red grapes obviously. Much more Pinot, with sweet plum, red berries. A slight hint of windfall and mild spiciness. The palate is lush and broad with quite a creamy mousse. High presence of the volatiles. It has slightly tannic sensation. There is a lot of extract in this which obviously the deep colour is indicating. So sweet plum, red berry fruit. It still appears as a rather youthful Champagne. More on the fruity than on the complex or mineral side. There might be a slight hint of oak here. I do pick up something slightly roasted on the palate. So I would say more beginning, lush and broad, then finish, which I would say medium-long. Quite enjoyable now but I don’t know about the potential for this quite particular style.
