Light golden colour here. Quite tiny, but lively bubbles. Intense nose, offering more red berry fruit, I would say, so probably more Pinot Meunier or Pinot Noir in this one. So redcurrant, raspberry, with plum and ripe pear. Quite vinous, or I would say, in the more non-interventionist or natural style of Champagne. Some pain d’espices as well or gingerbread spiciness. Quite full-bodied with unctuous fruit here. A lot of quince and sweet plum, with that gingerbread spice character. Good creaminess and a well-integrated acidity. Slight sensation of sweetness but the finish is long with a lively bright acidity. So a very personal style, more of a grower style of champagne, I would say. With plenty of expression, rich and generous style.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
