Champagne Prévoteau-Perrier – Grande Réserve NV – Brut

Quite light colour here, appearing youthful, light straw colour with a green tinge. Rather vivid mousse. On the nose it is appearing youthful as well, some notes of lemon, grapefruit, lime, green apple and some nutty notes. Good freshness on the palate here, vibrant, fresh, still on the youthful side. I would talk about medium weight here, there still a hint of depth in there. I suppose it is quite an equal mix of Pinot and Chardonnay; we have those slightly riper notes of red berry, resending red berries, with those higher notes of lemon, lemon zest from the Chardonnay. On the finish it keeps lingering for a while, medium towards long I would say. Good freshness, good purity, fine integration of mousse. Still appearing youthful I would say, but really well balanced for what it is, with a potential for further development.
