Light golden colour and fine bubbles. The nose is floral with ripe fruit, some windfall, crushed pear, hazelnut and toast. The palate is rather broad, yet with a fresh backbone, a creamy texture, citrus and pear with some more red fruit on the finish, indicating Pinot noir, very good length, persistent and generous. Drinks well today but still has a lot to give. Rather Pinot driven style with power, should develop truly well.
