A sparkling wine, youthful. In terms of mousse it is youthful, colour is on the light golden. Quite floral nose here, resembling more Chardonnay to me, with some of those white flower, some notes of the lees contact. Perhaps a hint of oak in here. Overall quite intense, slightly complex nose. The palate is dry, rather bone dry. I would probably opt for extra brut, in terms of style. You really get that mouth-watering sensation due to the acidity. Quite fine mousse, good creaminess. More in an austere style, I would say, not in a negative way, but austere in this crisp, fresh, mouth-watering, with ripe, just-about-ripe fruit. We have some white peach flavours, green apple, and then a quite long finish with those nutty and fine spicy notes. Clearly a more Chardonnay style in my mind, or more Chardonnay dominated I would say, probably Blanc de Blanc. Still very youthful, however I think it is enjoyable for that youthful and fresh style today, but clearly with a potential to go on for many more years.
