Light golden colour, there is a certain evolution here. Small to medium sized bubbles. Quite vinous on the nose. Well this is probably a classic blend here, as I get both, some of those citrus, yellow fruit, hazelnut notes from Chardonnay. But there is also a bit more depth and weight from slightly riper fruit. I don’t know about the blend, but quite ripe fruit more in a vinous style. There might be a slight hint of oak there. There is a certain evolution, a certain complexity, then gentle spiciness; saffron, almond and a hint of vanilla. Quite dry there in a positive sense. Not really a high dosage. Medium weight, but quite intense flavour. Yellow fruit, pear, ripe citrus, with some nutty notes. Good extract, and extract without bitterness I should say. Fresh and juicy acidity and a quite long and lingering aftertaste. A certain complexity here and potential for further development.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
